Especially adapted for pattern work.

Router Planes are used for planing off depressed surfaces and are especially adapted for pattern work. The Cutters may be reversed when desired. The open throat of the No. 62 is preferable in some work as it allows the shavings to clear rapidly and gives the user a better view of his work.

Additional Notes:

Whereas the first version of the No. 62 Router Plane (Type 1) did not have an adjusting screw on the post to regulate the depth of cut, the second version (Type 2) did.
